The award is given in appreciation for going the extra mile and was presented on behalf of the Utah Central Association of Realtors.

The Swanepoel Mega 1000 Report from T3 Sixty, a recognized leader in the analysis of annual trends and industry leaders, has ranked Equity #38 in sales volume for the 2017 year in the nation!

In the 2017 year, Equity Agents nationwide closed 13,585 transactions for a total sales volume of $4,071,429,445.00! We're very proud of the work our agents do to build communities and help people's dreams of homeownership come true.

We are extremely pleased to be able to announce that we've hit a landmark in our profit share payout. Equity Agents have been paid over $8.5 million dollars since the inception of the Equity Profit Share Program!

Congratulations to our very own Kenny Parcell of Equity - Utah on being named to the NAR Leadership Team! Kenny has been selected to be 2018 NAR vice president, government affairs. Kenny previously served on Equity's leadership team as well in the capacity of Director of Business Development, a role he's moved on from to focus further on his branch in Utah Valley and his participation in NAR.

EQUITY REAL ESTATE^® congratulates Nathan Poulsen of Equity - Select on being the highest producing Equity REALTOR® for January, 2017. Nathan is a very involved REALTOR® whether he's working with buyers or sellers in the Weber County area of Utah. Additional recognition includes, the #1 Producing Agent in Weber County (2016) and the #8 Producing Agent for all of Utah in 2016.

Despite low inventory across the nation, EQUITY REAL ESTATE^® is pleased to be able to announce a very successful 2016. Equity Agents are responsible for 13,824 total closings last year and, Equity is proud to say, are the recipients of a massive $716,080.00 in profit share. With a total sales volume for 2016 of $3,812,537,303.35, Equity is able to claim one of the top positions of independent brokerages in this great country of ours.

As the month draws to a close, EQUITY REAL ESTATE® would like to thank the National Association of REALTORS® for all of the work and effort put into REALTOR® Safety Month. Equity has long been a supporter of NAR and continues regular donations to RPAC in order to further the efforts made on REALTORS'® behalf in protecting the Real Estate Industry. REALTOR® Safety Month is another way NAR has worked to protect those we value. EQUITY REAL ESTATE^® urges all REALTORS® to practice the safety tips outlined within the NAR Field Guide to REALTOR® Safety, and to make every month a safe one.

EQUITY REAL ESTATE^® is very proud of all of their Brokers' achievements and their continued service in their communities and various assignments in Boards and Committees. Equity has received word that their own Nancy Pearce-Harris, Regional Designated Broker for Nevada and Managing Broker for St. George, UT has been nominated and voted in as the 2015-2017 Director of the Washington County Board of REALTORS®. The installment will take place on Thursday, the 17th of September 2015.

Equity Charities (Equity's philanthropic arm) teamed up with Choice Humanitarian and Damascus Lodge #10, Free & Accepted Masons of Utah on Saturday the 29th of August in a collection drive on behalf of those adversely effected by the Nepal Earthquakes. The successful drive collected clothing, household items, and more throughout the day. The event was attended by Bishnu Adhikari from Nepal who was also featured in the movie Meet the Mormons. Mr. Adhikari is heavily involved in the effort to rebuilt over 9,000 schools in his native Nepal; a challenge that Equity Charities is honored to be a part of.

Equity is proud to announce the appointment of Erik Cooley to the position of Chief Executive Officer. Erik began his career with Equity as the Chief Operations Officer, and has been instrumental in Equity's consistent positive growth. Erik leads the executive team which consists of Lance Card, Chief Marketing Officer and Jared Blank, Chief Information Officer as well as oversight of the Operations and Finance departments.
